I am 1lostone, or Lost. I've been writing fanfiction since before the internet was widely used, and reading it slightly longer than that.

Star Trek is my first and most beloved fandom. As trite as the saying might be, you never forget your first!

Fandom as an entity has always fascinated me, and I'm sure that it surprises exactly no one that I spend so much of my time here. After this long in fandom, my biggest accomplishment is that for the most part, I've managed to avoid fandom drama.

Some people prefer to be involved in a step-by-step process. Others prefer to be surprised. Either way, we'll discuss all the fic particulars so that you get exactly what you want.

Fic commissions are entirely collaborative. You decide what you want in the fic and have creative control.

Don't worry if we don't share a ship. I admit, it is easier if we do, but it's not a requirement.

I take payment through PayPal or Ko-fi. PLEASE do not discuss fic particulars on ko-fi, as it is against their Terms of Service.

Once we've settled on an idea, I will send you further payment information.

We will have an agreed-upon timeline before any payment is accepted, and full refunds are available if have not started by the agreed-upon date.

Fic Challenges

Fic-Adjacent Projects

As you can probably tell, I like to stay busy. Currently I am working on three projects that help me fill my spare hours.

I am THRILLED to continue working with KiScon. I am mostly behind the scenes. I run the tumblr and help with the discord. Since the con is online this year, we are working hard to make sure that the transition is a smooth one.

I run a fanfiction rec blog, where my tens of followers are subjected to all of my strong feelings about different fanfics that I adore a completely normal amount.

I volunteer for the OTW. If you give me half a moment of conversation I'll probably wax poetic on all the amazing work this org does for and because of fandom. This year will be my eighth year of volunteering.

I am working on a deleted fic recovery project that literally no one asked me to do. If you have any Star Trek RPF (Pinto mainly, but I'm not picky) fics, AOS Trek fics, or Teen Wolf (Sterek) Fics, please reach out! I'm still working on adding metadata to fics (and this takes forever) so I'm not at a point where I can offer it to the general public, but I'm sloooowly moving that way.
